I knew I wanted the name to reflect two things: my love of data and analytics, and my love of storytelling. I wanted the name to reflect both parts equally, and still give the impression that we were entering a brand new world. It wasn’t just a metric-driven universe of database analysts and statisticians. It wasn’t just a storytelling universe of feel-good anecdotes and vague assurances.
It was a new universe. A universe of metrics and verse.
I knew it was right the moment I first said it. It’s where my career has been living for over a decade. And now it has a name.
